Artisan Frames
Artisan Frames specialises in making frames for artists, galleries and collectors of fine art. Although they are based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, they make a trip to Dublin every Thursday to collect prints and deliver frames.
Like the other framers we work with, they offer a range of different styles and finishes. They We particularly like their natural wood frames with splined joints in a contrasting wood. We also like their coloured lacquer frames which have invisible joints (called closed joints in the trade). They will also finish frames using paints, waxes, shellac and other materials to achieve the appearance you want.
