Picture Bloc
We share our building at the White Swan Business Centre in Dublin with Picture Bloc, a framing company. Their main business is catering to the domestic consumer. However, more than 10 years ago we began a collaboration with them to develop a range of frames specifically for the art world. They now produce a wide range of contemporary frames tailored to the needs of contemporary artists, art galleries and museums.
For this range, all the framing materials in direct contact with the prints, and all adhesives used, are acid free and meet archival or conservation standards.
Many of our clients appreciate their ability to directly compare their prints with the frames available while they are here reviewing proofs with us as we have access to the full range of Picture Bloc samples. This helps them select frames that best suit their prints.
